Role:

We are seeking a skilled Helpdesk Technician to provide technical support and assistance to our employees by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of IT systems to maintain and improve our office’s technology environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level support for IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
  • Respond to and resolve support tickets in a timely manner via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and peripherals.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees, including setting up accounts and hardware.
  • Monitor and maintain IT systems, ensuring uptime and performance.
  • Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system and maintain accurate IT documentation.
  • Educate employees on IT best practices and provide training as needed.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues when necessary.
  • Maintain security and compliance standards across all IT systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest IT trends and technologies to enhance support capabilities.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1+ years experience, or equivalent education in Microsoft ecosystem (365, AD, etc.)
  • Strong troubleshooting experience, and communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or MS certifications are a plus.
