Role:

We are looking for Service Technicians who are eager to grow their skills and advance in their career. The ideal candidate will be dependable, adaptable, and have strong problem-solving abilities. This role involves providing repair, maintenance, and technical support for industrial refrigeration equipment across Utah and neighboring states. A solid background in industrial refrigeration and electrical controls is essential for success in this position.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide repair and maintenance services for industrial refrigeration systems in industries such as refrigerated storage, food and beverage, ice rinks, and other industrial and large
    commercial facilities.
  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance on ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems.
  • Participate in on-call rotations.
  • Apply knowledge of screw and reciprocating compressors, electrical diagnostics, ammonia refrigeration systems, and control/alarm systems to carry out inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of and compliance with safety standards, procedures, and regulations.
  • Have a solid grasp of high and low voltage electrical systems and controls.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; HVAC/R school is a bonus
  • RETA or IIAR operator 1 and 2 classes are a plus. If you don’t have them, no worries – we provide plenty of training.
  • Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, and motor vehicle record check. This is a safety-sensitive position that requires both pre-employment and ongoing random drug testing.
  • Must be willing to travel Utah, and surrounding states as well as overnight stays.
